Aqua Protec at UHEI 2025

Last week, we had the pleasure of exhibiting at the UHEI Conference - a major annual event designed for estates, property, and facilities professionals across the UK. UHEI brings together leaders from healthcare, education, housing, FM, and construction, creating the perfect environment for meaningful conversations and practical solutions - held at the world renowned Edgbaston Cricket Ground.

For Aqua Protec, this was our first time attending UHEI, and we weren’t entirely sure what to expect, but the experience exceeded expectations.

It was also Alfie’s first corporate pop-up event with Aqua Protec, and he rose to the occasion brilliantly. Confident, composed, and naturally engaging, Alfie represented the business incredibly well. It was great to see him step into this environment and excel.

Demonstrating Aqua Remote® — A True Showstopper

Throughout the day, we carried out live demonstrations of our Aqua Remote® monitoring system, and it quickly became one of the most talked-about features on our stand.

Estate managers and property teams were genuinely impressed by the system’s ability to:

• provide real-time visibility across entire estates

• reduce unnecessary site visits

• strengthen compliance

• simplify reporting and temperature monitoring

• identify risks early, before they cause disruption

  
  

Seeing people’s reactions - the “wow, that would make our lives easier” moment - confirmed that Aqua Remote® is solving real problems for large, complex estates.

Building Relationships at the Evening Gala

We also attended the UHEI Gala Evening, at Edgbaston Park Hotel, which proved invaluable. It gave us the chance to reconnect with hospital estate managers we haven’t spoken to in a while, as well as introduce ourselves to new organisations that were a perfect fit for our offering. The relaxed Xmas themed setting made it easy to have more in-depth conversations and build future opportunities.

Overall, UHEI was exceptionally well organised and provided a fantastic platform for us to showcase who we are and what we do. From demonstrating innovation to building relationships, the conference delivered everything we hoped for and more.

We left energised, inspired, and even more determined to continue supporting estates teams with technology, like Aqua Remote®, that genuinely makes their work easier and safer.
